Things are still going really well with Joy and the baby, or as we like to call him/her, “Peanut.” On Thursday night, Joy’s two sisters Julie and Rhonda came out to visit on their way to North Carolina. They had a brief stop on Friday morning before heading to their grandmother’s to celebrate her 90th birthday. We had planned to go to North Carolina too, but we obviously can’t travel at the moment. We even had our dogs booked for the kennel for the weekend and we decided to keep the appointment so Joy’s mom could get away and we wouldn’t have to juggle taking care of them. That meant I was able to spend the entire weekend with Joy!

Every day so far, the baby’s heartbeat has been around the 145-155 bpm range. Joy’s eating a little more than last week, but the fibroid is still causing a little pain. The good news is today is week 24 and the doctor started the steroid shot this morning! This will help our baby to grow and develop a little faster. I’m not sure when the next ultrasound is scheduled, but as soon as we get another one, we’ll post the picture. Thanks for your continued prayers and support!
